York Space Systems has hired Jon Estridge, former staff member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, to be its vice president of operations, he announced in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
Estridge spent 27 years serving in various government positions, including in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Early in his career, Estridge worked for NGA for two years as branch chief of air warfare acquisition integration. He transferred to ODNI in 2006, first as GEOINT intelligence community lead and later deputy director of IC capability requirements.
Estridge was appointed as director of the Intel Surveillance and Recon Afghanistan integration under the NATO Allied Command Transformation in 2011. He also became the Defense Intelligence Agency’s foreign area officer for sub-Saharan Africa.
Before becoming part of the Senate Select Committee staff, he was director of NGA’s warfighter support office.
