The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded eight companies positions on a potential 10-year, $23 billion contract vehicle to provide health care staffing support for Veterans Health Administration program offices, VA medical centers, veterans integrated service networks and related organizations.
VA received 13 offers for the VHA Integrated Critical Staffing Program, a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a five-year base term and five option years, according to a notice published Wednesday in the Federal Procurement Data System.
The VHA ICSP contract, which was competed as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside program, seeks to provide clinical and non-clinical staffing support, program management, human capital and other professional services to meet critical staffing needs and key program requirements, according to a solicitation notice published in August.
