The Department of Homeland Security will release a solicitation for a potential $100 million contract to procure end user device information technology management and general services in support of the Customs and Border Protection’s Field Support Directorate.
According to a post on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System, services include planning, building, testing, deployment, stabilization of workstation changes, software distribution, patch management, service management as well as program and administrative management-related tasks.
DHS will use the General Services Administration’s 8(a) STARS III government-wide acquisition contract, which is a small business set-aside contract that gives access to IT services and customized IT services-based offerings from 8(a) industry partners.
A solicitation is expected on Feb. 2, while an award is anticipated in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024.
The contract’s value will range from $50 million to $100 million. Work in Ashburn, Virginia, will run through May 19, 2029.
