The Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration will launch a competitive acquisition for a recompete indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide security screening services at commercial airports.
TSA anticipates releasing a request for proposals for the multiple-award contract on Nov. 1, 2024, with contract awards expected in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, according to a notice posted Thursday on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System.
Selected vendors will provide security screening services that comply with all TSA guidance, oversight, directives, training and performance requirements.
The recompete contract has an estimated value of more than $100 million and will run until Sept. 14, 2035.
Twenty-seven companies hold positions on the incumbent IDIQ contract to support TSA’s Screening Partnership Program.
