The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Friday that Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and RTX (NYSE: RTX) will be the lead contractors for the deal, which will support countries such as Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
NATO’s Support and Procurement Agency ordered 940 units of the weapon systems as well as corresponding services for technical issues, engineering and logistics. The sale also includes battery coolants and metal containers.
