Mohamed Elansary, a more than 25-year industry leader, has joined Fairfax, Virginia-based government information technology services contractor Concept Plus as chief growth officer.
In this capacity, Elansary will lead the development and implementation of growth strategies as Concept Plus advances the delivery of emerging technologies and digital transformation services to federal agency customers, the company said Monday.
He will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives and business development efforts and build up partnerships to improve agency services.
Ahmad Abuzaakouk, CEO of Concept Plus, said Elansary’s strategic vision and expertise will be key as the company advances its objective of delivering platforms and services to government clients and his appointment comes as Concept Plus commits a significant investment to support growth initiatives.
Elansary said he will bring his experience in business development, strategic planning and capture management to help Concept Plus accelerate growth.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Elansary spent a decade at Buchanan & Edwards, where he served as CGO and vice president of global operations.
His industry career also included time holding leadership roles at Guident Technologies, CEB and General Dynamics Information Technology, among other companies.
