The Defense Finance and Accounting Service made a modification to Ernst & Young’s potential $200 million work to provide audit services and financial statement preparation to the Department of the Air Force.
Under the contract modification, the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, has a base performance period of 12 months as well as four one-year options, the Department of Defense said Friday.
EY was awarded the labor-hour contract in 2022 to support DAF’s General Fund and Working Capital Fund. The latest option award obligates $40 million to the firm, bringing the contract’s total cumulative value to $112 million.
The contractor will perform the work primarily in Washington, D.C., as well as sites inside and outside the U.S.
The contracting activity is DFAS’ Contract Services Directorate.
