Donald Speranzini, a defense and space industry veteran, has assumed the role of vice president and general manager of ground systems and services at Ball Corp.’s (NYSE: BALL) aerospace business, he announced in a LinkedIn post.
In this capacity, he works with customers in the defense and intelligence community to deliver ground systems and command and control development, operations, maintenance and sustainment support and related technologies and services.
Speranzini brings to the role decades of experience in business strategy development and capture management and technical background in nuclear deterrence, GPS, space superiority and national security platforms.
Prior to this position, Speranzini was director of strategic development for national defense at Ball Aerospace.
He joined Ball Aerospace in 2019 after a 34-year career at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), where he served as a business area director, program director, business development manager and systems engineer, according to his LinkedIn profile.
