Dan Wilbricht, former general manager for the public sector at Devo, has been named president of Optiv‘s cybersecurity and information technology arm focused on the U.S. federal sector, according to a recently published LinkedIn post.
He will head Optiv + ClearShark and work with the executive leadership team to grow the Denver-based company’s presence in the government market.
Wilbricht previously held public sector leadership positions at Dell Technologies, LogRhythm, Ivanti and Keeper Security.
He concurrently serves as chairman of the board of directors at Square 1 Security, a McLean, Virginia-based small business offering government cybersecurity products and services, and a founding board member of the Software in Defense Coalition.
Optiv closed its acquisition of ClearShark in March as part of efforts to expand its public sector business.
