Earlier this month, Stevan Slijepcevic, president and CEO of Cubic Corporation, received his second Wash100 Award from the award’s founder, Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson, in a meeting at Cubic’s Ashburn, Virginia headquarters.
The Wash100 Award is the most pedigreed honor in all of government contracting — it has spent a decade recognizing both some of the most prominent change-makers in the federal arena and the quiet, secret MVPs behind the scenes. The award’s honorees include CEOs, military generals, financial experts, lifelong public servants and more. Though EM’s selective voting body makes the final decisions, the award takes into account audience submissions. Slijepcevic came into his current role in January 2022 and immediately impressed the voting committee. He has since led the company to major contract wins from the likes of the U.S. Air Force and the Marine Corps.
Prior to his time at Cubic, he oversaw a business unit at Honeywell Aerospace valued at over $3 billion and spent the better part of two decades with the company ascending its ranks. Executive Mosaic congratulates Slijepcevic on his immense contributions to the GovCon sector and looks forward to his future achievements.
