Amentum will perform entry control monitor, observers and construction surveillance technician support at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska under an eight-year, $49.8 million contract from the U.S. Air Force.
The government and commercial services contractor will provide support for a reconstruction site until Nov. 8, 2031, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Amentum competed against one other bidder to secure the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. It is being obligated $1,000 from USAF’s fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Offutt AFB-located 55th Contracting Squadron serves as the contracting activity.
Aside from the recent contract award, Amentum is also working with the Air Force’s Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate on the management of information technology and procurement processes for defense service support. Efforts are under the 15-year, $4.64 billion Parts and Repair Ordering System VI contract.
