The Potomac Officers Club is looking ahead to one of its most anticipated events of the year: the annual Artificial Intelligence Summit. 2024’s edition will be held on March 21 and you can register here now.
The AI Summit is POC’s yearly gathering of the foremost experts in AI, machine learning and automated technologies from both the government and private industry. 2024 marks the fifth iteration of the event and will be an all-day blow-out of keynote speeches, panel discussions and prime networking opportunities. Especially in the wake of the October Executive Order on the responsible use of AI, this is a particularly important function to attend.
Department of Homeland Security Chief Technology Officer David Larrimore will deliver a centerpiece keynote address. In his remarks, Larrimore’s background in software, cloud, data and more will be used as a springboard for in-depth considerations of AI and its future in DHS activities. Like all of the keynotes, stick around afterward for some thoughtful Q&A.
The morning keynote address is set to feature the director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s AI, Automation and Augmentation Office, Rachael Martin. The official has a deep background in digital transformation and systems analysis.
Later in the day, there will be a panel discussion about how AI is being implemented to keep up with the sudden shifts and fast pace of the modern world as well as keynotes from two more giants in the government technology space: Dr. Kimberly Sablon of the Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office and Dr. Kathleen Fisher of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Tickets for the event — which is headed up by lead platinum sponsor Booz Allen Hamilton and flanked by additional platinum sponsors SOSi, ECS, Empower AI, Redhorse, HII, Primer and Fearless Digital — are going fast. Be sure to save your spot and register now if you are working in the government contracting space and have any interest in AI.
