Information technology services provider 22nd Century Technologies has acquired public safety technology developer Queues Enforth Development for an undisclosed sum to expand its portfolio of government software offerings.
QED specializes in computer-aided dispatch and records management software systems that support over 300 state, local and federal public safety organizations, TSCTI said Tuesday.
Anil Sharma, CEO of TSCTI, said acquiring the computer software provider will help enhance the IT company’s newly established product division.
TSCTI aims to integrate generative artificial intelligence, machine learning and advance analytics to “revolutionize and enhance public safety software” for government customers, according to Sharma.
The McLean, Virginia-headquartered company provides IT managed services to federal agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the National Institutes of Health.
TSCTI is among the awardees of a potential $203.6 million contract to help FCC implement IT systems and services. It also holds spots on a $556 million U.S. Navy contract for technical support and a $3.6 billion award from NIH for work on the agency’s biomedical research program.
