Space Operations Command Soliciting for $480M Satellite Control Network Support Work

Space Operations Command’s Space Acquisition and Integration Office has begun seeking proposals for a potential 10-year, $480 million small business set-aside indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for satellite control network support services.

The STORMS contract vehicle will provide SpOC’s Space Delta 6 with operations and organizational-level maintenance, remote site and mission partner support services for the SCN, according to a notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov.

The SCN comprises radio frequency antennas, signal processing and routing communications equipment and computer systems that provide telemetry, tracking and commanding and payload support to operational space vehicles.

SpOC anticipates awarding the contract and initial task order on March 18, 2024.

The IDIQ has a five-year base period with five option years. The first task order has a 60-day phase-in, 12-month base and four option periods.

Responses are due Nov. 27.
