Suzette Kent, former federal chief information officer and a two-time Wash100 awardee, has joined the newly established Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Center of Excellence at StackArmor.
She will advise and provide counsel to StackArmor and its stakeholders on developing and delivering security and governance controls to manage risks associated with adopting AI systems, the critical infrastructure security company said.
“I hope the output of the COE will deliver tools that agencies can use to move faster and to confidently scale AI capabilities,” Kent commented.
She served as federal CIO from February 2018 to July 2020 and oversaw governmentwide data and information technology policies and strategy.
Kent also spent nearly three decades in various finance management and leadership positions at EY, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and JPMorgan.
StackArmor’s AI Risk Management CoE was established to help secure the adoption of generative AI and general AI systems across the public sector.
CoE members include Maria Roat, former deputy Federal CIO and a previous Wash100 Award recipient.
