Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm has received a potential $486.4 million contract from the State Department to field, operate, maintain and support the agency’s Integrated Logistics Management System.
The contractor will provide customer outreach and training, security monitoring and patching and other operations and maintenance support for ILMS, according to an award notice published Wednesday.
ILMS serves as the State Department’s supply chain management system, providing an integrated platform using commercial off-the-shelf products and application platform as a service offerings.
Accenture Federal Services will offer systems integration assistance and support supply chain management and logistics initiatives in the next seven years under the contract.
The contract also covers remote and on-site system deployments, training, strategic and customized change management and communications, customized operational analyses and consultations and other global change management services in support of ILMS users worldwide.
