Redcom to Continue Army C2 Tech Support Under $100M Contract

Redcom Laboratories will provide communications hardware and software products to the U.S. Army under a potential five-year, $100 million contract.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award offers the service branch a vehicle to procure the Sigma products suite, including the XRI-400 command-and-control platform and the C2 Console application, Redcom said Tuesday.

Sigma is a voice communications offering in Army programs of records such as the Network Integration Technology Enhancement, Battlefield Video Teleconference and the Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced.

The service branch’s C3T program executive office started to procure Sigma C2 software licenses three years ago through a $31.9 million contract.

Redcom added the new deal covers integration, training and other support services.
