Geoffrey Mattson, former senior vice president at LogRhythm, has joined Xage Security as CEO.
Xage said Wednesday Mattson will take the helm of the cybersecurity software provider as it keeps up with the continuous growth in demand for its zero trust mesh platform, which pushed year-over-year revenue up by 420 percent in the first half of 2023. He succeeds Duncan Greatwood, who will transition to the role of executive chair of the Xage board of directors.
The new Xage Security chief executive was co-founder and CEO of MistNet.ai, which later became a subsidiary of LogRhythm. He gained expertise in cybersecurity through his work in various IT companies, including Huawei Technologies where he was SVP and chief technical officer for three years.
Mattson was also VP of engineering at Corona Networks and Caspian Networks, and VP of product management and architecture at Juniper Networks.
âItâs clear that the adoption of universal zero trust security is more critical than ever before and that the Xage platform is perfectly aligned with the demands of the moment,â Mattson remarked. “Iâm thrilled to take the helm at Xage and to support all our customers as they move to cyber harden their infrastructure and securely harness the power of digital transformation.â
