Executive Mosaic, the Capital region’s premier government contracting membership organization, has named Lockheed Martin Vice President Jim Keffer as the chair of its 4×24 leadership series’ Multi-Domain Group.
4×24 is a favored tradition among GovCon’s most esteemed professionals, a combined social gathering, meeting of the minds and culinary attraction where monthly dinners gather executives who are organized into groups that match their fields of interest and experience level. 4×24 is upscale yet easygoing and members find it to be an extremely viable way to forge new connections and generate direction for where they’ll be taking their next endeavors. The Multi-Domain Group within 4×24 is comprised of consultants and technologists who are looking at the battlespace from a wide-ranging perspective and working to build and offer tools, solutions and weapons that can serve warfighters stationed in land, sea, air environments and beyond.
“I’m excited to chair the Multi-Domain Group for Executive Mosaic and privileged with the opportunity, especially since we focus on improving current and future capabilities for our national defense across all domains — air, land, sea, space and cyber,” Keffer stated. “Our national defense depends on tight collaboration between U.S. government and industry leaders in delivering high-technology deterrent and multi-domain capabilities to U.S. allied and partner nations. The Executive Mosaic Multi-Domain Group’s contribution helps us all get there.”
Keffer’s career before joining Lockheed in 2016—where he currently serves as vice president of the future warfare concepts and cyber division—primed him for the role leading this group. He boasts a diverse military background, with deployment in Iraq (there serving as deputy director for intelligence in a combat environment) and notching two-star major general status, trusted with commands at the squadron, group, wing and agency levels. He also held civilian positions like deputy chief of Central Security Service within the National Security Agency and chief of staff of U.S. Cyber Command.
“A decorated military official, an ambitious entrepreneur, a renowned cyberspace expert and now an industry executive leading Lockheed’s future warfare concepts and cyber division, Jim Keffer is perfectly suited to lead our 4×24 Multi-Domain executive group,” issued Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the 4×24 program. “We’re honored that his leadership journey — from the Air Force to CYBERCOM to Lockheed — continues with Executive Mosaic as he commands a motivated group of senior executives in helping to advance critical multi-domain missions in partnership with top government speakers.”
Executive Mosaic anticipates with great expectation and excitement Keffer’s tenure as chair of the Multi-Domain Group and congratulates him on this significant achievement.
