Eric Brown, a technology industry leader, has started serving as senior vice president for innovation and capabilities and chief innovation officer at ManTech, he announced in a LinkedIn post.
He most recently served as VP for innovation and capabilities responsible for accelerating the Herndon, Virginia-based defense contractor’s technology strategy and delivering platforms to customers in support of their dynamic mission requirements.
His previous roles at ManTech include VP of strategic cyber operations for the federal civilian sector and VP and division manager of advanced cyber solutions for the company’s intelligence sector.
Brown, a Project Management Professional, brings to the role nearly 20 years of leadership experience in cyber policy, systems and software engineering, mission-centric cyber platforms, product development and enterprise information technology in support of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense clients.
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional held leadership positions at several defense and tech companies, including Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), Raytheon, Blackbird Technologies, Six3Systems, CACI International (NYSE: CACI) and General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
