A part of Executive Mosaic, the Potomac Officers Club hosts regular events to provide a space for those who serve the federal government’s most critical missions to share information and collaborate for the benefit of the broader GovCon community.
This year, POC’s Intel Summit features an impressive group of executives, including four keynote speakers: Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Dr. Stacey Dixon, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth III, Defense Intelligence Agency Deputy Director Suzanne White and Central Intelligence Agency Deputy Director of Digital Innovation Jennifer Ewbank.
Three panel discussions are also included in the Intel Summit’s lineup, each of which will consider a specific topic and its role in the national intelligence mission.
The Future of Intelligence Analysis with the U.S. Intelligence Community and the impact of AI and Open Source Panel
Open source intelligence is the collection of data from publicly available sources, including but not limited to newspapers, television and online spaces. In this panel, Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center National Intelligence Manager for Cyber Dana Madsen, DIA Director for Analysis Dr. Trent Maul and Department of the Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cyber and Emerging Technology Intelligence Rhett Skiles will come together to weigh in on the relationship between artificial intelligence, open source and modern intelligence analysis.
Intelligence Acquisition: Strategies, Priorities & Opportunities Panel
Enhancing acquisition processes is an important part of accelerating the IC’s modernization and capability expansion goals. This panel will bring together CIA Senior Acquisition Executive Margaret Augustine, National Reconnaissance Office’s Office of Contracts Director Mark DeVido, DIA Deputy Senior Acquisition Executive Judith Oxman and AT&T National Security Client Executive Susan Williams to discuss IC acquisition priorities and strategies to upgrade related processes.
Staying Ahead of the Adversary: IT Modernization & Tech Adoption Panel
Adversary attacks are constantly evolving, and the IC has recognized the need to bolster its information technology systems to keep critical information secure. During this panel, DIA CIO Doug Cossa, CIA Deputy CIO for Information Technology Enterprise Ryon Klotz and IC CIO Dr. Adele Merritt will share their insights on IT modernization and technology adoption in the IC.
