Susan Bruce, a 34-year veteran of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has started a new role as the company’s vice president of advanced weapons.
She announced her new position Saturday on LinkedIn and took on new responsibilities after leading the advanced tactical systems business within the land and avionics C4ISR division at Northrop.
Before joining the VP ranks, Bruce was director of the Emerging Systems and Strategic Initiatives’ advanced tactical systems operating unit and oversaw the BWI Restricted Programs and Longbow Apache programs.
The Vanderbilt University graduate began her career with Northrop in 1989 as a senior engineer and helped the company establish the Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success within the mission systems segment.
