NASA is accepting industry proposals for the third iteration of its single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covering safety and mission assurance engineering services.
The SMAEC III procurement vehicle will support human spaceflight programs and projects at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston and White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico, including the International Space Station, Orion exploration spacecraft and Artemis mission, according to a notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov.
Services include flight assessment documentation and presentation, space vehicle mission operations and simulations, analyses and assessments development, technical authority support for human spaceflight and government property management and administration.
SMAEC III is a follow-on to the $292 million contract awarded to Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) in April 2019.
NASA will host a virtual pre-proposal conference on Aug. 21 and will accept bids until Sept. 15.
