The Department of Energy has indicated its intent to extend by six months the ordering period of a procurement vehicle involving eight contractors that provide support services to its statistical and analytical agency.
DOE said Monday that extending the Energy Information Administration Omnibus Procurement IV vehicle would give the department more time to complete work on the fifth iteration of the contract.
With the extension, EIA could continue to access industry services such as program management, survey operations, energy analysis and modeling, information technology, product and service development production and marketing, and organization support.
The EOP IV vendors are as follows:
- Energy Research Alliance/Edgewater
- IMG and Crown Energy Services joint venture
- Telesis Corporation
- Z Inc.
- Zolon Tech
- ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI)
- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS)
- General Dynamics Information Technology
DOE awarded the five-year, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract in September 2016 and, since then, has extended the period of performance twice.
The department released final EOP V solicitations in May.
