Bradford Powell, a defense industry veteran, has joined Ultra’s intelligence and communications business as president of the command, control and intelligence segment.
He will directly report to Ultra I&C CEO Jon Rucker as he oversees the development and implementation of the company’s growth strategy and all business operations within C2I, the company said Sunday.
Rucker noted Powell’s “extensively demonstrated leadership and expertise in strategy development and implementation within the defense industry will reinforce our position in the market and bolster our growth as a company.”
Powell most recently served as a partner at FON Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on government, defense and aerospace markets.
The former U.S. Air Force acquisition officer also held leadership roles at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and Cubic.
