State Department Posts Solicitation for $5B US Foreign Policy Support IDIQ Vehicle

The State Department has begun seeking proposals for a $5 billion multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle to support U.S. foreign policy initiatives globally to boost peace, security and regional stability.

GLOBALCAP has an ordering period of 10 years and covers the provision of training and monitoring, equipment, logistics support and construction services to sub-Saharan Africa and regional organizations, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.

The contract will support the Bureau of African Affairs’ Office of Regional Peace and Security and the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs’ Office of Global Programs and Initiatives.

The government intends to select up to seven companies each in the small business and full and open competition pools.

Interested companies have until Oct. 10 to respond to the solicitation.
