Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has received a $91 million task order to update hardware and software for the U.S. Navy’s V-22 aircraft logistics information technology system.
The task will cover research, development, test and evaluation support to the LOG-IT product line under Naval Air Systems Command, SAIC said Tuesday.
SAIC noted the product line includes the Comprehensive Automated Maintenance Environment Optimized system and its corresponding integrated training system and readiness integration center.
The company will help NAVAIR Program Management Activity-275 analyze readiness and maintenance processes related to the tiltrotor military aircraft’s logistics system as part of the order issued under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s multiple-award contract vehicle.
“The modernization of mission-driven analytic tools in tandem with the acceleration of actionable insights is critical for a more sustainable global V-22 fleet,” said Bob Genter, president of SAIC’s defense and civilian sector and a 2023 Wash100 winner.
