An HII (NYSE: HII) division has booked a $41 million task order to install and maintain integrated training systems for the U.S. Navy.
HII Mission Technologies will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity in hardware and software modernization, cybersecurity, system maintenance and integration, configuration management and fleet training efforts, the company said Wednesday.
The task order, awarded under the SeaPort Next Generation contract, has one base year and one six-month extension.
Ryan Norris, president of HII Mission Technologies’ fleet sustainment business group, said the company will work with Naval Sea Systems Command to carry out life cycle sustainment work on the branch’s shipboard and shore systems.
