TransDigm Group (NYSE: TDG) has completed the acquisition of aerospace and defense systems testing company Calspan through an approximately $725 million transaction that includes certain tax benefits.
Calspan, which owns a transonic wind tunnel facility, is projected to generate $200 million in 2023 revenue, Transdigm said Monday.
The Buffalo, New York-based test services provider has 625 employees nationwide and seven primary offices located in New York, Virginia, Minnesota and California.
TransDigm used cash on hand to finance the acquisition, which was completed less than two months after the company first announced the deal.
