Brad Barnard, a 25-year defense market veteran, has been appointed vice president and general manager of the land systems division at Saab‘s U.S. subsidiary.
His industry career encompasses work across program management, strategy, business development and operations research functions, Saab Inc. said Tuesday in a LinkedIn post.
Barnard most recently served as senior director of the area defense systems and optionally manned fighting vehicle program at Raytheon Technologies‘ (NYSE: RTX) missiles and defense business.
While at Raytheon, he led a portfolio of soldier systems such as the antitank TOW and Javelin missiles and the Excalibur munition.
He served as international business development manager at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) land systems unit earlier in his career.
