Brian May, national lead for U.S. Air Force and Space Force markets at Michael Baker International over the past four years, has been promoted to president of the company’s federal programs and services.
He will be the executive committee member responsible for expanding clients and customer relationships with federal defense and civilian agencies, Michael Baker said Friday.
May joined the engineering and consulting firm in March 2019 after serving as general manager of Solutran’s government electronic benefits transfer services business.
Before joining industry, he served 25 years in the Air Force and retired from military service with the rank of colonel.
Michael Baker said in the same press release that Dean Hartman, federal practice program manager, will succeed May as national market lead for the Air Force and Space Force.
The company additionally elevated George Guszcza to chief transformation officer, from his prior role as SVP and national director of federal programs and services, and named Lori Stump-Ganter, former VP and director of business analytics, as chief financial officer and director of federal operations.
