John Amsden, former senior vice president for strategy and growth at Precise Systems, took on a new role as the company’s chief strategy officer.
He will be responsible for helping Presice to expand organic capability expansion initiatives in the defense and federal markets, while driving the transition of its newly absorbed and cross-functional businesses, the professional services provider said Monday.
Amsden is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who joined the private sector through Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky subsidiary, where he managed the engineering, test, evaluation and integration of CH-53K helicopter systems.
To date, Amsden has accumulated more than 30 years of military aviation and government contracting industry experience.
