The Department of Energy is soliciting proposals from the small business group for a 10-year, multiple-award contract vehicle that will support deactivation, decommissioning and removal of facilities managed by DOE’s environmental management office.
DOE said Friday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will comprise firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement task orders.
The initial order will cover DD&R, environmental monitoring, surveillance and maintenance, project support and groundwater remediation services at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory’s Area IV.
DOE’s EM office may request support assistance for other federal agencies through the contract.
In July 2020, the department named nine prime awardees on its DD&R procurement vehicle with a $3 billion ceiling value over 10 years.
