Chuck Hicks, a finance and business leader in the GovCon industry, has been named chief financial officer of Thomson Reuters Special Services, GovCon Wire has learned.
He brings to the position over 25 years of experience overseeing financial and business operations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and integration initiatives for several large companies and federal contractors.
“Mission and people are my ‘whys,’” Hicks said in a statement published Friday on LinkedIn.
“Our mission is to help customers manage and mitigate risk in national security, public safety, and commerce.”
Hicks joined TRSS from Empower AI, where he served as chief operating officer and CFO.
He previously worked at Cresa Global as CFO and held executive roles in finance at several companies, including SC3, ASRC Federal, USIS, Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and Ernst & Young.
Hicks also served in the U.S. Navy for six years.
