Amentum has formed a four-member committee that will advise the company on developing emerging technologies and agile engineering tools in support of Army training, testing and information operations programs.
The U.S. Army Senior Advisory Committee comprises retired service leaders who bring expertise in military operations, policies and decision-making, Amentum said Wednesday.
The members of the group are:
- Pete Vangjel, former chief compliance officer of the Army and deputy commanding general of Army Central Command
- Camille Nichols, former commanding general of Army Contracting Command
- Tim Edens, former commanding general/director of U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center/Safety Center
- Rob Ulses, former deputy chief of staff of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command
“We train for today while developing innovative technology and agile engineering solutions for tomorrow, bringing training to the soldier instead of the soldier going to the trainer,” said Jill Bruning, president of Amentum’s engineering, science and technology group and a previous Wash100 awardee.
