Mara Motherway, former senior vice president of government and customer relations at Peraton, has joined defense technology maker Epirus as chief growth officer.
She will oversee corporate campaigns, marketing, business development, communications and government relations in her new role, Epirus said Thursday.
While at Peraton, Motherway led the government technology contractor’s public policy and government affairs strategies and its engagement with agencies, research organizations and trade groups.
The two-decade U.S. Navy veteran worked at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in corporate vice president, government relations and business development roles.
Prior to Booz Allen, she was director of special projects and strategic capture for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance at BAE Systems.
Her Navy career included assignments as director of legislative affairs at the Defense Intelligence Agency and acquisition oversight portfolio manager for U.S. military satellite and special communications.
