General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems business and IMT Defense have secured positions on a five-year, $344.2 million contract to manufacture artillery assemblies for the U.S. Army.
Orders under the fixed-price contract comprise production, testing, packaging and delivery of 155-millimeter M1128 artillery metal components, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The shared award, which includes an economic price adjustment provision, has an ordering period of five years.
Army Contracting Command sourced the services through an internet-based bidding process.
