Amentum Wins Spot on $75B HHS Refugee Support IDIQ; Karl Spinnenweber Quoted

The Department of Health and Human Services has awarded Amentum a position on a potential 10-year, $75 billion multiple-award contract to provide facilities and services for refugees across the continental U.S.

Amentum said Tuesday it will compete for task orders in the areas of direct care, facilities management and wrap around services in support of the office of refugee resettlement within the department’s administration for children and families.

Karl Spinnenweber, president of Amentum’s critical missions group, said the award recognizes the company’s efforts in overseeing programs and delivering capabilities to support humanitarian missions.

“We look forward to bringing our expertise in expeditionary medical solutions and mission operations to ensure the wellbeing of the refugee population in the U.S.,” added Spinnenweber.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year base period and one five-year option term.
