Adam Riddle, a nearly 10-year Rolls-Royce veteran, has been named president of defense business and chairman and CEO at the British power technology builder’s North American subsidiary.
He most recently led the global services operations with Rolls-Royce North America’s defense division and helped the company win U.S. military contracts as director of strategy and future programs, the company said Friday.
The U.S. Military Academy graduate and former Army officer previously worked within Boeing’s (NYSE: BA) defense operations.
Rolls-Royce also announced the appointment of senior finance and performance management leader Helen McCabe as chief financial officer and Rob Watson, most recently president of Rolls-Royce Electrical, as president of civil aerospace.
McCabe, currently senior vice president of finance for the consumer and products division at BP, will succeed Panos Kakoullis, who will continue to serve as a Rolls-Royce board member and CFO through the end of August.
Watson took over the position of Chris Cholerton, who transitioned to the role of group president with oversight of Rolls-Royce’s nuclear operations.
