GovCon industry veteran Timothy Lael has joined Changeis as vice president of capture and proposals.
He brings to the role over three decades of leadership experience in the aviation and government contracting sector and will oversee the execution of the company’s business development strategy, Changeis said Friday.
Lael’s “business acumen, particularly related to capture and proposal development, will further expand our business development infrastructure and execution,” said Brian Pickerall, senior vice president at Changeis.
Lael has held senior leadership positions at several GovCon companies, including Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Engility, General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Serco’s U.S. arm, McNeil Technologies, SkyLink USA, CALNET and American Systems.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for two decades as an air traffic controller and spent nearly 10 years at the University of North Dakota as an adjunct professor.
Changeis is an Arlington, Virginia-based woman-owned small business that provides enterprise information technology platforms and management consulting services to public and private sectors.
