The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a request for proposals for a recompete of its multiple-award contract vehicle that covers professional, scientific and technical services in the fisheries domain.
NOAA said the ProTech 2.0 Fisheries solicitation is reserved for small businesses and will comprise multiple task orders to be performed within or outside the continental U.S.
The six task areas outlined in the final RPF notice are studies, data analysis and reports; applied research, engineering, consulting and operations; field sampling, data collection and surveys; training and program and project management; fisheries management and consultation activities; and economic and social science.
ProTech‘s other domains are focused on oceans, weather and satellite programs with an $8 billion ceiling for the overall acquisition effort.
Five large vendors and a dozen small businesses were awarded positions on the first iteration of the ProTech Fisheries contract in 2018.
The agency will accept proposals for the follow-on contract through April 5.
