Jacobs’ (NYSE: J) government services business has won a $249 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support design-build work for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps installation projects.
The eight-year IDIQ award covers multidisciplinary architect-engineering tasks in the Navy Region Southwest area of responsibility, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Contractor responsibilities will encompass planning and specifications, site surveys, cost estimating, construction, renovation and repairs.
Eighty-seven percent of the work will occur in California and the remaining 13 percent in Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command received seven offers during the competitive procurement process on SAM.gov.
