David Diaddario, a nearly four-decade defense industry leader, has been appointed president of Hill Technical Solutions, a Huntsville, Alabama-based division of Valkyrie Enterprises, GovCon Wire has learned.
He brings to the position 38 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense in technical, business development and management roles.

Diaddario has experience leading teams responsible for radar systems simulation development and missile seeker engineering and evaluation. He also led proposal development efforts and capture of contracts at corporate organizations.
He most recently served as vice president of technical programs at System Studies and Simulation.
Diaddario’s industry career included senior leadership roles at KODA Technologies, Radiance Technologies, Millennium Systems Services and BAE Systems.
In May 2022, DC Capital Partners invested in Valkyrie and merged the latter with its portfolio company HTS.
Established in 2010, HTS provides systems engineering, hypersonic technology, modeling and simulation, information technology and cybersecurity support for DOD customers, including the U.S. Army and the Missile Defense Agency.
