GovCon industry veteran Christine Fox Harbison will assume the role of executive vice president and chief growth officer at Mercury Systems on March 6.
She will report directly to Mercury CEO Mark Aslett as she oversees the execution of the company’s growth strategy, builds up technology partnerships and leads strategic account management and capture and proposal efforts, the company said Thursday.
Aslett, a previous Wash100 awardee, said Harbison brings to the role over 30 years of experience driving growth initiatives and building partnerships and new markets in the defense and commercial tech sector and will be instrumental in growth strategy implementation.
Harbison comes to Mercury from Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), where she most recently served as VP and general manager of the combat systems and mission readiness division. She also held senior leadership roles at Raytheon for more than a decade.
“I am thrilled by the opportunity to make leading-edge commercial technologies profoundly more accessible to the national security missions that keep our nation safe,” Harbison said.
She is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association, The Forum for Executive Women and the Women in Defense Organization.
