CAES has expanded its portfolio of capabilities and presence in the radio frequency technology market with the acquisition of Herley.
Herley designs and produces microwave electronic products for electronic warfare assemblies, missile flight instrumentation platforms and other tactical RF systems for defense and aerospace industry customers and has facilities in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, CAES said Monday.
CAES purchased Herley from Ultra Electronics, which is now part of Cobham.
“Being a partner of choice for our customers and helping to solve their toughest advanced RF problems is our top priority,” said Mike Kahn, president and CEO of CAES.
“We’re excited to welcome the Herley team to CAES as they share this focus. Combining our specialized knowledge will only continue to strengthen our work to build strong partnerships, deliver quality products and better serve our industry,” added Kahn, a two-time Wash100 awardee.
