Mary Ann Carlson, a three-decade federal business development and operational executive, will serve as the first chief growth officer of IPTA and oversee the creation and implementation of the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Bill Williams, CEO and owner of IPTA, said in a statement published Tuesday Carlson has deep knowledge of the federal market and has built relationships, processes and teams focused on serving defense and government organizations.
He noted that Carlson’s addition to the executive team will enable IPTA to advance efforts to deliver platforms and services to its expanding client base.
Carlson joined IPTA from COLSA Corp., where she led business development operations for the Northeast Region and helped establish strategic partnerships.
She currently serves as regional vice president for AFCEA International’s New England-Upstate New York Region. She previously served as president and board chair of the AFCEA Lexington-Concord chapter.
Burlington, Massachusetts-based IPTA is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business focused on delivering cloud, cybersecurity, software development and other IT and professional services to defense and federal government clients.
