Technical and strategic consultancy Cadmus has acquired Arlington, Virginia-based international economic and analytics consulting firm Nathan Associates for an undisclosed sum in a transaction that broadens its U.S. federal contracting business.
Cadmus said Thursday Nathan will operate as its new international development division led by Jeffrey Singer, senior vice president of international development.
Susan Chodakewitz, president and CEO of Nathan, has joined Cadmus as executive VP of public sector strategy.
“Moving forward, we will continue to expand our presence and enhance our support for clients around the globe with a team that shares our vision, commitment to technical excellence, and drive to make an impact,” said Ian Kline, president and CEO of Cadmus.
The transaction will enable Cadmus to further build up its capability to compete for prime contracts in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development and related organizations in the U.S. and overseas and provide Nathan opportunities to capture new business and access to Cadmus’ contract vehicles.
Nathan is an international development consultancy that has been offering technical advice, analysis, strategies and integrated platforms to government and industry customers worldwide for over 75 years. The firm has corporate offices in the U.K. and India and project offices in more than 40 countries.
Cadmus has more than 700 consultants focused on supporting clients across governments, energy utilities and the private sector.
