Randy Cash, a more than three-decade operational and business development leader in the GovCon industry, has been appointed president and CEO of Axient.
He succeeds Patrick Murphy, who has served as chief executive of Axient since 2021.
Axient emerged following the rebranding of QuantiTech and its three subsidiaries – Millennium Engineering and Integration, Systems Engineering Group and Dynamic Concepts – to reflect the combined capabilities of four companies in multidomain test and analysis, digital engineering and other areas in support of defense and civilian agency clients.
Murphy spent seven years as head of Millennium Engineering and Integration and played a key role in the integration of four companies to form Axient two years ago.
Cash previously served as chairman of the board and president and CEO at QuantiTech. He led the company’s efforts to acquire Dynamic Concepts and Systems Engineering Group and merge with Millennium.
He also held executive leadership roles at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Computer Sciences Corp. and Kord Technologies.
Huntsville, Alabama-based Axient has over 2,000 employees focused on delivering technology platforms and services to defense and civilian agencies and commercial clients. The company has over $500 million in annual revenue.
