Navy Awards $419M in Contract Modifications for Littoral Combat Ship Maintenance Support

The U.S. Navy has awarded 14 companies spots on two contract modifications worth $419 million combined to provide maintenance, repair and modernization support services for littoral combat ships based in San Diego.

Majority of the work will occur on the West Coast and the rest will be carried outside the continental U.S., including Singapore, through October 2023.

Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity.

The awardees on a contract modification valued at $389 million are:

  • Austal USA
  • BAE Systems’ San Diego Ship Repair business
  • Continental Marine of San Diego
  • East Coast Repair and Fabrication
  • Epsilon Systems Solutions
  • General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) NASSCO subsidiary
  • Marine Group Boat Works
  • Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication
  • Vigor Marine

Small businesses that secured spots on a potential $30 million contract modification are:

  • Colonna’s Shipyard West
  • Continental Tide Defense Systems
  • Epsilon Systems Solutions
  • Life Cycle Engineering
  • Q.E.D. Systems
  • Southcoast Welding and Manufacturing
