The General Services Administration has included a self-scoring requirement for sustainability-related disclosures as an amendment to a draft request for proposals for the third iteration of the Alliant governmentwide acquisition contract for information technology platforms and services.
The amendment calls for public disclosure of greenhouse gas emissions and the potential offeror could gain up to 1,750 points for the completion of GHG disclosure requirement under scopes 1 and 2 and another 1,750 points for scope 3, GSA said in a Jan. 6 news release.
“To claim credit in these areas the potential offeror must provide the location of the public disclosure on its own website or third-party sustainability reporting portal,” the notice reads.
In October, GSA started seeking feedback on the draft solicitation for Alliant 3 and set a Jan. 6 deadline for comments on the draft RFP.
With the amendment, comments and questions on the draft RFP are now due Jan. 31.
